The new 10 Cu. Ft. ribbon blender by Hongda America Corp is designed for efficient blending of powders and liquids, featuring a solid construction suited for sanitary applications. Crafted from SUS 304 stainless steel, all contact surfaces are polished to a RA25 sanitary grade, ensuring a smooth, hygienic finish. The main shaft, lid, and safety grate are also constructed from stainless steel. The unit includes a 4-inch centered discharge and employs an air purge and split ring design seal housing for enhanced performance and sealing. Powered by a heavy-duty 5 HP three-phase drive, the ribbon blender operates at 230/460V and is UL listed for safety, with a current rating of 13A at 230V and 14.38A at 208V. It comes equipped with a controller featuring a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), allowing operators to adjust blending speeds as needed. Safety features include a grate interlock, emergency stop, and overcurrent protection. Pre-wiring for 230V three-phase power ensures quick and easy installation. The ribbon blender measures 79"x33"x71" and weighs 2,204 lbs, shipping in a full wooden crate for added protection during transit.
