Stanford Horizontal Bun Slicer

FROZEN HBS

Our Frozen HBS is a slicer that is designed to slice frozen product, specifically for sandwich assembly lines. Typically used for biscuits, ciabatta, english muffins, and croissants. This unit takes a single lane of frozen product, slices it and separates it so that the top piece is sitting next to the bottom piece by the time the product exits the system. This exposes the cut surface of the bottom piece so that you can apply your egg, meat, cheese, or any other sandwich toppings with ease.

  • Proven run rates of up to 120 pieces per minute on 4" diameter product
  • Product internal temp varies based on product and environment but ranges of 0 degrees to 32 degrees Fahrenheit have been run successfully (Not all products can run the full temperature range.)
  • Blade height adjustable from 3/8" to 2"
  • Pressure belt adjustable from 1" to 5"
  • Standard 230v or 460v 3ph 60hz (other available upon request)
  • Air supply line of 4cfm @ 90 psi
  • Product must have an internal temp of below 35 degrees at time of slicing
